If you’re looking to spend as little as possible on something that’s still good at its job, this’ll do the trick. While Iiyama monitors aren’t at the same level as LG or Samsung, they’re still excellent value for money. And unless you’re a pixel expert, it’s hard to tell where it falls short at first glance.

This monitor comes with built-in speakers, a 24-inch screen, 0.8 ms response time, and is an IPS panel. It supports up to 1920 x 1080p resolutions and has an HDMI and DP port. A nice bonus is that this display is 165Hz meaning you can make the most of PS5 games that shoot for 120fps. All in all, this is a fantastic monitor for the price even if it is a little on the smaller side.

9. BenQ Mobiuz EX240N

The BenQ Mobiuz EX240N is a very similar product to the previous option. With the real differences coming through in small touches that add up to a slightly better device. And it’s not a massive jump in price so it works for people on a slightly higher budget. This is still a 24-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate with all the basic things you’d need.

The only real downside to this monitor is the rather boxy design. It’s got a very chunky profile which can be an aesthetic eyesore and makes the display a little heavier as a result. But you’re sure to get a pretty good gaming experience from this device due to the OSD offering lots of control over picture quality alongside the screen being tiltable. Be sure to check this one out for a great budget display as it’s easily one of the best budget options for PS5 monitors.

8. Dell S2721DS

Dell S2721ds

We’re moving away from small monitors now and moving up to the world of 27-inch displays. But we’re still on a bit of a budget at this point so I’ve chosen the Dell S2721DS. This monitor isn’t strictly a gaming monitor and more of an all-around display. As such we aren’t working with high refresh rates or advanced monitor technologies.

With that said, this monitor does support a 1440p resolution, which the PS5 can make use of. This display also lets you fully adjust its height and tilted angle so you can make it suit your specific needs. And if you only care about hitting 60fps the 75Hz refresh rate isn’t going to matter much. Ultimately, if you need a cheaper 27-inch display that does its job well, this option from Dell is worth a look.

7. Gigabyte G27Q

For a 27-inch display that not only supports 1440p but a 144Hz refresh rate too, look no further. The Gigabyte G27Q is a monitor that’s an absolute beast for the price you pay. Its feature set along with the clean aesthetic makes it a very good choice for those on a decent budget.

This monitor delivers a solid gaming experience for PS5 players with built-in speakers, full height and tilt adjustment, and plenty of picture options. Listings for this monitor strongly push the low blue light feature which makes late-night gaming slightly better for your eyes. So there you have it, not only is this monitor a good choice for your gaming setup, but it also looks out for your health.

6. Alienware AW2720HFA

Now normally I would not consider anything by Alienware to be a budget-friendly option. However, when it comes to the AW2720HFA, this display manages to back in a lot of good features for a reasonable price. Now this monitor is not on the higher end of visual quality and in some ways is a bit of a step down on the list. But in terms of functionality, you get a lot to work with.

This is a 27-inch, 1080p monitor that has a 240Hz refresh rate. It comes with two HDMI ports and a single DP port. But it also comes with five USB 3.1 ports, meaning it works well as a USB hub of sorts. If you have some USB lights, a desk fan, or any other low-power USB device this monitor can drive them with ease. Alongside all this, you get crisp picture quality that makes PS5 games look brilliant.

5. Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TQBUXXU

The Samsung Odyssey G5 is the last of the 1440p monitors on this list and that’s because it’s simply the best you can get for the PS5. This display packs in brilliant visual fidelity, tilt adjustment, and has a curved screen. And you get all this for a reasonable price, too. All in all, this is one of the best monitors for the PS5 at this price point.

The only obvious downside is that there are no built-in speakers or height adjustments. And while their omission can be a downside for certain setups, it’s really hard to complain too much. You’re still getting a monitor that boasts incredible visual quality for such a good price. So if you’re after a 1440p display that not only looks great but is financially reasonable, consider checking this out.

With the MSI Mag 274UPF we’re entering the brave sharp world of 4K gaming. Now this monitor is an excellent entry point into 4K displays because it’s still reasonably priced for what you get. This is a 27-inch display that has a 3840 x 2160 IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with an HDMI 2.1 port as well as a DP 1.4 port.

Some handy bonuses include height and tilt adjustment, support for Vesa mounting, and a Vesa DisplayHDR 400 certification. The colors are rich, the visuals crisp, and it can really make the quality modes on certain PS5 games look incredible. So for an entry point into 4K gaming, you really can’t go wrong with this monitor.

3. LG 27GR93U

For a jump in price, we’ve got the LG 27GR93U which is another 27-inch 4K gaming display. You’re getting all the same features here as you did with the MSI Mag 274UPF. There are a few differences here that end up making the price difference make more sense though. For starters, this display has LG’s power-saving options, that manage to bring down power consumption without muddying up the visual quality of the display too much.

The other big positive is the fact that LG’s displays are simply some of the best on the market right now. This monitor in particular delivers crisp visuals while keeping all parts of the screen looking colorful with full clarity. And when you do push it up to 4K on certain titles, it can look incredible. This is simply the best 4K gaming monitor in the 27-inch range that’s available right now.

2. LG 32GR93U-B

You may be looking at this option and squinting to tell the difference initially. And frankly, there isn’t too much difference between this option and the previous one. Except, of course, for the bigger screen size which is now 31.5 inches. And this makes a gigantic difference in the world of 4K gaming. On a 27-inch screen, the benefits of 4K are much harder to tell than on a 3.15-inch display. And all the benefits I mentioned before can be applied to a higher degree here.

With 32-inch displays, the biggest problem you face is usually fitting them somewhere on your desk. This can be an even bigger issue if you’re running a multi-monitor display. But if you’ve got the space and the budget, this 31.5-inch monitor offers incredible visuals for 4K gaming at a reasonable price yet again. if you’re working with a decent budget this is absolutely one of the best monitors for the PS5.

1. Samsung Odyssey Neo G8

For those who have no problems paying any price for a display, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is the best you’re going to get. For a lot of money, you’re getting one of the best gaming displays on the market that offers you fantastic visuals on a large screen. This 32-inch display offers a 240Hz refresh rate, HDR 2000, and full height and swivel tilting features.

With everything this monitor has to offer, it’s undeniably the best option on the market for something that performs brilliantly. As far as playing PS5 games go, this is likely to be the best way to experience them for some time to come. Plus, if Sony decides to make an upgraded model of the PS5 with more powerful specs, then this monitor should be able to easily support those as well. Ultimately, if you want the best of the best monitors, then this is it for the PS5.
