While no one pet is better than another, I think some of these are more unique than others. If you’re getting a limited amount of pets, you should take a look at these.

Coral Island: Best pets, ranked

Pets in Coral Island don’t have different personalities, or likes and dislikes, so I can’t really rank them depending on how good of a pet they are. What I will do though is rank the ones I think are the most interesting and the ones that would seem fun to own.

  • Best Pets In Coral Island Ranked Lindi
  • Hippeastrum
  • Best Pets In Coral Island Ranked Luna
  • Malcolm
  • Spike Bonkers
  1. Lindi
  2. Hippeastrum
  3. Luna
  4. Malcolm
  5. Spike Bonkers

In Coral Island there are dogs, cats, bunnies, and even a lizard! I put Lindi the lizard at the top because you rarely see lizards adoptable in games, and Lindi’s smile just gets me every time. Then there’s Hippeastrum, who’s a very unique-looking rabbit. They’re white with pink accents, and also have two pink hearts on their body, which I think is pretty adorable.

Luna’s a pretty cool pet because while you may think they’re a dog, I’m pretty sure Luna is a fox. A fennec fox, to be precise, who have huge ears and large beady eyes. Then we have Malcolm, who has an interesting coat compared to the other cats. Malcolm’s fur has a lot of stripes, one of the designs looking like a heart.

Finally, we have Spike Bonkers. Nothing much is really special about their looks, they seem to be a pit bull of some kind. But Spike Bonkers is such a hilarious name that I had to put them on this list. And their face is just so sweet, I couldn’t say no.

How to adopt pets in Coral Island

Are you wondering how to even adopt these precious pets in Coral Island? All you have to do is reach Town Rank E to be able to purchase a pet bed and a house from the Animal Shelter. You can find this Animal Shelter inside the Town Hall on the right side.

At the front desk, you can ask to purchase houses and pet beds for your pet, alongside being able to adopt them. You’ll then see the long list of pets available.

What are mythical pets in Coral Island?

If you’ve heard about the mythical pets, these are quite special. These are a type of pets you can only get in Coral Island if you were one of the Kickstarter backers. Back when Coral Island was still on Kickstarter, fans could back the campaign and pledge towards special dragon mythical pets. Unfortunately, they’re not available to anyone else besides the players who backed the Kickstarter campaign.

On the bright side, it’s believed that backers could get mythical pets early in the game, but other variants of mythical pets are available for all players in the late game. This information is uncertain due to the fact that Coral Island recently came out of Early Access, but once we figure out if mythical pets are available to everyone, we’ll give an update.
