You’ve come to the right place if you want a build for high damage and high mobility. This is a Rogue’s specialty, so here’s how to mold your build before you fight AOZ.

Diablo 4: Best Rogue build for fighting Abattoir of Zir

If you’re playing a Rogue and want to succeed against AOZ, the best build for you in Diablo 4 will be the Poison Twisting Blades build. Twisting Blades is arguably the best Rogue build in Season 2, and it’s even better with the Poison Imbuement. Let’s go over what the best skills, Paragon Glyphs, and Vampiric Powers are.

Diablo 4: Best Poison Twisting Blades Rogue endgame skills for AOZ

  • Twisting Blades
  • Puncture
  • Poison Imbuement
  • Dash
  • Shadow Step
  • Smoke Grenade

Of course, you’ve got to have the Twisting Blades skill as one of your main damage components. This can deal with large groups of enemies, especially when the blades return to you. I’d then get the Improved Twisting Blades skills afterward for further damage and the Dazed effect.

Then we have Puncture, which is more like your secondary damage skill. Go back and forth between these two, and go for Fundamental Puncture for three blades that spread. Your best Imbuement here is Poison, which is great to use against AOZ, as he’s a hefty boss to tackle.

For the best mobility, go for Dash and Shadow Step. The former is a lot more freeing to use and can get you out of a tight situation while still doing damage. The latter focuses on a target, so make sure to use that on AOZ frequently. I recommend Disciplined Shadow Step to reduce the cooldown.

Finally, Smoke Grenade adds to that Dazed effect and will help you deal extra damage after being thrown. All of these skills put together can create a great Rogue build to face off against AOZ.

Diablo 4: Best Poison Twisting Blades Rogue Vampiric Powers for AOZ

Since Season of Blood introduced Vampiric Powers, you’ll want to utilize them when deciding to fight AOZ. Here are some of the best ones I recommend:

  • Moonrise
  • Undying
  • Accursed Touch
  • Metamorphosis
  • Prey on the Weak

Moonrise is great because it increases your attack speed and can stack up to five times when using a Basic Skill (Puncture). Then upon reaching max stacks, your Basic Skill damage increases, as well as your movement speed. This is crucial for fighting this big boss.

Undying only costs one Eternity, and heals you for 3% of your Life when casting Skills. You’ll need this for survivability against AOZ. Then Accursed Touch is how you can spread and inflict the Vampiric Curse on your enemies, which increases your damage against them.

Metamorphosis is a fun one. Every time you Evade, you turn into a cloud of bats and become Unstoppable. Other than your mobility-type skills, use Evade in dire situations. Finally, Prey on the Weak inflicts further damage on Vulnerable enemies. Also, enemies become Vulnerable when affected by a Vampiric Curse, which works great with Accursed Touch.
