Best SOA Subverter Warzone build: Attachments, perks, and loadout

This new battle rifle is perfect for Warzone.

An all-new battle rifle called the SOA Subverter has arrived in Call of Duty: Warzone with the Season 2 Reloaded update, and this weapon is a perfect fit for long-range battle royale matches. It’s got a best-in-class fire rate too, so it works well in close-quarters engagements as well.

Like most of the battle rifles in Warzone, the SOA Subverter needs a little bit of help to compete with the usual meta of low-recoil assault rifles, fast-firing submachine guns, and powerful sniper rifles. With the right attachments, however, the SOA Subverter can carry you to your next Warzone victory on any map.

The SOA Subverter specializes in mid to long-range encounters and features a predictable recoil pattern, so it’s pretty easy to control. It’s also super easy to unlock. If you add these attachments to the weapon, though, it becomes a certified laser beam.

  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Muzzle: JAK BFB
  • Barrel: Dozer-90 Long Barrel
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Stock: Motion-V2 Heavy Stock

Each of these attachments boosts the SOA Subverter’s already great accuracy and stability. The JAK BFB is one of the best Muzzles in the game for recoil and kick control, so it’s a natural fit on this battle rifle. The buttery smooth recoil pattern helps with the ultra-long-range firefights that you’ll get into using the Dozer-90 Long Barrel. The Motion-V2 Heavy Stock will add a layer of stability as well.

The final two attachments can be swapped out based on personal preference, but they go a long way to make the SOA Subverter feel even better in Warzone. The Cronen Mini Pro-Optic is a fan favorite, but you can change it for the Slimline Pro or your favorite sight if you’d like. We wouldn’t recommend swapping out the 50-Round Drum Magazine, however, since this weapon’s base 20-round magazine is way too small for Warzone.

You can use whichever perks and equipment you like with the SOA Subverter, but these are the best grenades and perks to use alongside it.

  • Tactical: Stun Grenade
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade
  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Battle Hardened
  • Perk 3: Survivor
  • Perk 4: Ghost

Each of these perks pairs perfectly with the SOA Subverter since they’ll let you stay on the move and get the jump on your enemies. They’ll also help keep you hidden from enemy equipment and give you an advantage in close-range battles. The SOA Subverter works well in all Warzone modes, and it’s one of the best weapons for Resurgence too.
