Song Chiyul is one of the few Hunters given to you during the tutorial for Solo Leveling Arise, making him a great choice for one of the first builds you can create. Here’s the best Song Chiyul build in Solo Leveling Arise so you can pick the best weapons and Artifacts for this character.

Solo Leveling Arise: Best Song Chiyul Artifacts

Song Chiyul is an excellent DPS character with powerful abilities that deal Fire damage. Because of this, the best Armor Artifact set has to be the Armed set. Here’s what it does:

  • Armed set
    • 2-piece: Increase the user’s Attack by 5%.
    • 4-piece: When attacking, ignores 15% of the target’s Defense and attacks.

Chiyul’s abilities all center around dealing damage in some way, so giving him an extra Attack boost is the best way to go. The 4-piece set is best since it can also ignore a small percentage of the enemy’s Defense and attacks as you’re attacking them, giving you a major advantage.

If you didn’t want the full set, I’d go for another 2-piece set like the Solid Foundation set or One-hit kill set. While the former will increase his Basic Attack damage by 18%, the latter will increase his Ultimate Skill damage by 25%.

When it comes to a good Jewelry Artifact set, I’d recommend going for either Berserker or Executioner (or maybe both at the same time).

  • Berserker
    • 2-piece: When the user has 50% HP or less, their damage dealt increases by 15%.
    • 4-piece: HP condition has been changed to 70% and Damage Dealt Increase effect increases to 30%.
  • Executioner
    • 2-piece: When attacking enemies with 40% or less HP, increases damage dealt by 8%.
    • 4-piece: HP condition has been changed to 70% and Damage Increase effect increases to 20%.

While one Jewelry set increases Chiyul’s damage when his own health is low, the other set increases his damage when the enemy’s HP is lower. Having both equipped together as 2-piece sets can work in your favor, but it’s also not bad to focus on one Jewelry set.

Best weapons for Song Chiyul

Since all Hunters, such as Lee Joohee, in Solo Leveling: Arise have exclusive weapons (SSR Weapons) meant just for them, this means that the best weapon for Song Chiyul is “Still Got It”. Unfortunately, you cannot acquire SSR weapons for SR Hunters yet, but they do exist.

  • Still Got It
    • Increase user’s Fire damage by 8%.
    • When using Basic or Core Attack, increases damage dealt to Non-Boss Monsters by 8% for 10 seconds (stacking up to 5 times).
    • Increases the User’s Attack, Defense, and Hp by 15%.

If you’re looking for alternative weapons for Song Chiyul until you can get his SSR Weapon, here are some good options for you:

SR Weapons

  • Steel Longsword
    • Effect: Weakness attribute damage increases by 4.5%.
  • Ancient Grimoire
    • Effect: Your Power Gauge Acquisition Rate increases by 12%.
  • Steel Dagger
    • Your Basic Attack damage increases by 6%.

R Weapons

  • Sword
    • Effect: Elemental weakness damage increases by 1.5%.
  • Dagger
    • Effect: Your Basic Attack damage increases by 2%.
  • Essence of Magic
    • Increases Power Gauge Acquisition Rate by 4%

Now that you’ve crafted the perfect build for Song Chiyul in Solo Leveling Arise, it’s time to also create the best build for the main character Sung Jinwoo.
