Best TAQ Eradicator build in MW3: Attachments, loadout, and perks

Blurring the line between an Assault Rifle and LMG

LMGs are known for being slow and sluggish but with immense firepower. The weapon class is rarely as popular as SMGs and Assault Rifles, but the TAQ Eradicator is unique among guns in its class. Here is the best TAQ Eradicator build in MW3: Attachments, loadout, and perks.

The TAQ Eradicator is surprisingly nimble for an LMG and can be built for a mobile playstyle. This weapon has a huge magazine by default but suffers from heavy Recoil. We can rectify this with our attachments:

  • Muzzle: Shadowstrike Suppressor
  • Optic: MK. 3 Reflector
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Stock: Tacverte Core Stock
  • Barrel: Conquer-70 Long Barrel

Shadowstrike Suppressor

The Shadowstrike Suppressor is an excellent Muzzle Attachment, as it keeps us off the radar without incurring any penalties to other stats. Although the TAQ Eradicator has a decent ADS speed, especially for an LMG, we don’t want to make it slower.

We can get valuable Recoil reduction from other Suppressors, but the ADS penalty is steep and hurts the build.

MK. 3 Reflector

You can rock any Optic you like, but the MK. 3 is one of the best, with a simple reticule free from obstruction. There’s a case to be made for a magnifying Optic on the TAQ Eradicator, but it feels out of place on MW3s smaller maps.

Bruen Heavy Support Grip

Our Underbarrel Attachment plays a pivotal role in keeping this punchy LMG steady. The Bruen Heavy Support Grip brings a host of stability bonuses, including a 14.5% reduction to Recoil.

Our ADS speed takes a minor hit, but it’s a small price to pay to make the TAQ more controllable.

Tacverte Core Stock

The Tacverte Core Stock is the “best in slot” attachment to reduce Recoil. The Stock drops Gun Kick Recoil by over 20%, and this bonus is immediately noticeable. We take a few hits to mobility, but penalties are minor, and ADS Speed isn’t affected.

Conquer-70 Long Barrel

Finally, the Conquer-70 Long Barrel makes the TAQ Eradicator easier to use at long range. We gain bonuses to Bullet Velocity and Range and a reduction in Aim Idle Sway, which makes hitting small targets much easier. We take penalties to Hipfire Spread, but this is a gun where you always want to use the sights.

Best secondary, tactical, lethal, and field equipment for the TAQ Eradicator

  • Secondary: COR-45
  • Tactical: Stun X2
  • Field Upgrade: Comm Scrambler

I use the Engineer Vest, hence the double Tactical Grenades, but go with your favorites here. The COR-45 is a good sidearm, and the Comm Scrambler is oppressive on smaller maps. The Munitions Box is a decent choice, although the ammo you start with should last a while.

Best gloves, boots, gear, and vests for the TAQ Eradicator

  • Gloves: Quick-Grip Gloves
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: Ghost T/V Camo
  • Gear: Blacklight Flashlight
  • Vest: Engineer Vest

Gloves don’t usually come into play, but the fast weapon-swap speed may come in handy. Covert Sneakers are solid in MW3 as they have no counter and are perfect for sneaking up on opponents.

I swear by Ghost T/V Camo, as UAVs are so prevalent, and the Blacklight Flashlight is a good tool for stalking opponents without using the radar.
