Some of the cosmetic items you can buy using rewards earned from PvP combat is quite expensive. We know some of the best ways to get Seeds of Hatred in Diablo 4, and we’ll tell you which ones earn you the most.

Killing a Seething Abomination

You ever notice those large bosses strolling around the Fields of Hatred? They aren’t very easy to kill, as they have a ton of health and can do serious damage. But if you manage to defeat one, you can earn a lot of Seeds of Hatred, around 1,000 to 3,000 in total. Because of how tough the Seething Abominations can be to kill, I recommend that you take them down with a friend or two. Just remember that you don’t each get your own Seeds of Hatred, you’ll have to share them between yourselves.

Killing other players

This is what the PvP area is all about, isn’t it? Bloodmarking yourself through the Action Wheel basically turns PvP on and allows you to attack other players, and other Bloodmarked can also attack you. While it’s a risk to lose your Seeds of Hatred if you die, defeating a player will make them drop all their Seeds. Remember, if you have a ton of Seeds of Hatred and don’t want to lose them, convert them into Red Dust before it’s too late.

Completing events

There will occasionally be events that pop up around the Fields of Hatred. Just like any event in the overworld, you should notice it on your map, and if you complete one, you can earn up to 1,000 Seeds of Hatred. They don’t take too long either, so it’s wise to partake in any event you come across.

Open Baleful Chests

A special type of chest is scattered throughout the Fields of Hatred. The Baleful Chests are unique to the PvP area, and can only be unlocked if you’re Bloodmarked. Inside these chests are usually around 1,000 Seeds of Hatred. This is probably the easiest way to find these Seeds, since it involves no combat. Although, be wary of the fact that when you’re Bloodmarked, any player can kill you.

Defeating enemies

Alongside other players, you’ll find plenty of monsters and creatures in these PvP areas. While killing any normal enemy can get you around 30 to 40 Seeds of Hatred, defeating Elite enemies nets you more, around 200 or so. Although this isn’t a quick way to earn these Seeds, if you’re afraid of engaging in PvP combat, you can still earn some of that currency just through killing enemies.

How to avoid dying in the Fields of Hatred

If you were confident in your combat abilities against the normal enemies, you may not be as confident when facing off against another player. This is where you’ll die more often than not, and if you don’t want to loose your precious Seeds of Hatred, you’ll want to learn how to avoid death.

Best Ways To Get Seeds Of Hatred In Diablo 4 Alter Of Extraction

I recommend beginning a Ritual at an Alter of Extraction to get Red Dust when another player has started one, but only somewhere else. This is because there’s less of a chance that someone will stroll up to your Ritual and try to kill you if another Ritual is going on.

If you spot a player trying to fight you, and they’re a higher level than you, don’t be afraid to run away. That may be too tough of a matchup, and it’d be best to face off against a player closer to your level.

Scrolls Red Dust

Also, there are some things in the town inside this Field that you can buy to help you out. Buying Scrolls usually costs 800 Red Dust, and they are only usable in the Fields of Hatred. A certain Scroll can actually teleport you somewhere random in a heated moment if you’re worried about dying.

Other Scrolls can boost certain stats while fighting other players. You can use those Elixirs and Incenses as well, which you can buy from Alchemists in most towns. Incenses can aid you and your friends around you, while Elixirs only give yourself boosts.
