Blood Bowl 2

Blood Bowl 2 gets an overview trailer, release date

Cyanide and Focus will be releasing Blood Bowl 2 on 22 September, and in case you were wanting to know more about this odd combination of fantasy and American Football, there’s a new overview trailer to watch.

Blood Bowl 2 will offer a full single-player campaign, management features, and eight Warhammer races to take onto the pitch. It certainly looks lovely, but the interface, AI, and stability are going to be the important thing here.

If you’re tempted, then you can pre-order for £34.99. Pre-orders grant you access to the multiplayer beta (due a few weeks before launch), and you can choose from either the Lizardmen or Wood Elves as an extra race. Yes, you can only choose one of them. No, you don’t get both. Yes, that’s a little sad. I guess you’ll have to buy the other one separately, or wait for the inevitable Blood Bowl 2: More Races Edition that’ll come out in a couple of years.
