How to earn Platinum in Diablo 4
Sadly, the only way to receive Platinum is by purchasing it using real-life money. This is a premium currency for players who don’t mind spending the cash on gear and mounts. Honestly, it would’ve been nice to see a way to earn Platinum without spending money, but there is one other way you can earn Platinum.

Diablo 4 will have a Battle Pass system around mid-to-late July with many rewards. Not only that, but you can earn Platinum from completing Battle Pass levels. It’ll cost you $10 USD to buy the Premium Battle Pass for one season, so you’ll still pay money for the Platinum you earn.
And since the entire Battle Pass season will only earn you 1,000 Platinum, it may not seem worth it. You buy the Battle Pass with 1,000 Platinum, then if you get enough levels, you’ll earn all your money back, alongside the items from the Battle Pass. In the long run, it’s probably more worth it to use that Platinum to buy a Battle Pass rather than a cosmetic, more bang for your buck. But it’s really up to the player!

Luckily, the first 27 levels of the Battle Pass is free for all players, but those rewards don’t include Platinum. Buying the Premium pass gives you the chance to unlock all 63 tier rewards. Keep in mind that you can buy an Accelerated Battle Pass for 2,800 Platinum, which skips 20 tiers. A new season will begin around every three months. Although the answer to if you can earn Platinum for free in Diablo 4 is a no, perhaps just purchasing the Battle Pass is your best bet for cool cosmetics.
