If one lover simply isn’t enough for you, you may attempt to date multiple characters at the same time. But can this happen, and what’ll happen if it works?

Persona 3 Reload: Can you have multiple romances?

Similar to how Persona 5 works with its romance, you can romance multiple characters in Persona 3 Reload. But there will be consequences for your treacherous actions. The nice thing that this remake added was the ability to max out multiple romance options’ Social Links without being forced to romance them.

If you do choose to romance multiple girls at once, they can begin to find out about your cheating. This will have negative effects on your Social Links and can reverse Ranks. Since most romances begin around Ranks 5-7, you still haven’t maxed them out yet, meaning they can just as easily backtrack.

Luckily, there’s one way to fix this. Head to Naganaki Shrine (which is the same place you can start Maiko’s Social Link) and buy a Fortune to repair the bond with your lover. Although, if you want to be a player without consequence, there’s one way you can do this.

Just make sure to completely max out your romance’s Social Link before trying to romance another. Once you reach Rank 10 of a Social Link, they can’t backtrack afterward. Even though the game warns you that you’re already dating someone else, you can continue with an additional romance.

So yes, you can technically date multiple characters in Persona 3 Reload, but if you don’t do it the right way, they’ll find out and it can lead to serious consequences. On the topic of romance options, check out our guide on how to start them all. And you’re going to need the Rose Bouquet, so here’s our guide on how to get it.
