With Season 1 wrapping up on 3 February, the Season 2 start date has been nailed down once and for all. Blizzard were unsure exactly when the second season would launch after season one closes out but it looks like they’re ready for action.

Season 2 is kicking off in North America on Friday 13 February at 6PM PST with Europe’s season getting underway on Friday 13 February at 6PM CET, and in Asian on Friday 13 February at 6PM KST.

As far as Season 1 is concerned, there are only a few more days left to finish things as it closes down on Tuesday 3 February at 4PM in the US and on Wednesday 4 February at 4PM in Europe and Asia.

Season 1 ran for a whopping six months which was seemed a little too long so perhaps they’ll reduce the time on this one and increase a quicker flow of new items coming into the game.

The question is, will you be taking part in a second season?  There’s an on-going thread asking that question over on Diablo: IncGamers, Has Season 1 been exciting enough to keep you coming back for more?
