Diablo 4 Season 1 Caged Hearts tier list

The good thing, is you don't have to tear out your heart for this one.

As part of the first season of Diablo 4, there are more ways to enhance your build. Both for leveling and with the endgame. Along with a new story mission, you’ll also get new things to acquire such as Legendary  Aspects. However, the most prominent and potentially the most import addition are hearts. Centered around the name, Season of the Malignant, these hearts can add more bonus power to your build. In fact, they’re just as important as Aspects because they can help complete a build. There are a lot of options to pick from in Diablo 4, so may not even help you, while others can. This tier list will break down the best Caged Heart options in Season 1 of Diablo 4. So you may have an easier time picking which heart goes best with your build.

Caged Hearts in Season ranked for Diablo 4, ranked

For Season 1 of Diablo 4, there are a total of 4 Caged Hearts you can get they are: Vicious, Brutal, Devious, and Wrathful. Each has its own strong points, so you can experiment quite a bit. All 4 Caged Hearts has various effects that can go either specific or all classes. The tier list below will also explain how to the Caged Hearts, and which character can use them for Season 1 in Diablo 4.

Best Vicious Heart ranked – tier list

Vicious Caged Hearts are all about power, so your offensive stats will be impacted. You can earn these hearts by slaying Vicious Monsters or crafting them at Cormod’s wagon.

S-Tier:

  • Moonrage: Druids have a 5 percent chance of spawning a wolf by your side for around 30 seconds per kill. The wolves will also gain more attack power.
  • The Picana: When a critically struck, electricity will charge the enemy for 0.75 to 2.50 seconds. This will cause an arc of lighting between each enemy and deal between 68 and 136 in lighting damage. The Picana can be used by any class.

A – Tier

  • The Sacrilegious: Now whenever Necromancer is walking near a corpse, triggering a Corpse Skill, which deals about 40-30 percent damage.

B – Tier

  • Cluster Munitions: When a Rouge activates Lucky Hit, they’ll get a 20 percent chance to launch 3 Stun Grenades. They’ll deal around 26-32 damage, and stun enemies for half a second.
  • Tempting  Fate: Critical Strike does 40-60 percent damage, however, Non-Crtical Strike will only do 20 -15 percent less. This heart can be used by any class, but you’ll need to be on World Tier 3 or 4.

C – Tier

  • Focused Rage: When spending 100 – 60 Fury within 2 seconds, Barbarian’s next Non-Basic Skill will have a 20-30 percent chance to trigger a Critical Strike.

Best Brutal Hearts  ranked – tier list

This heart affects your defensive attributes, so it’s a good idea to look for the best ones. Just like the Viciosue Hearts, you must kill Brutal labeled creatures. Or, you can craft them at the wagon.

S – Tier

  • Resurgent Life: When Barbarians are below health of 40-60 percent, they gain more healing from all sources.

A – Tier:

  • The Lionheart – 10 percent Barrier Generation is gained, plus, you heal for 3 – 7 per second while the barrier is active.
  • Agitated Winds: When 8 – 13 enemies are near a Druid, they’ll cast Cyclone Armor. However, this only happens once per 20 seconds.
  • The Decripted Aura: If there are around 5 enemies near a Necromancer, they’ll set a curse of Deceprify to the surrounding area for 5 – 15 seconds.

B – Tier

  • Prudent Heart: When you get hit and lose more than 20 percent of your Base Life, you become immune for around at least 4 seconds. Note that this is only available on World Tier 3 and 4, and only happens once every 110 seconds.

C – Tier

  • Trickery: After Rouges uses a Subterfuge Skill, they’ll leave behind a Unstable Decoy Trap that taunts enemies. The trap will explode for around 6 seconds dealing between 680- 1020 Shadow damage. But this only happens once every 5 seconds.
  • Spellbreaking: Whenever a Sorcerer is hit by elemental damage, they’ll gain 20-40 percent Resistance to whichever element hurt them.

Best Devious Hearts ranked – tier list

These hearts focus on Utility which increases certain stats such as cooldowns on your higher-level skills. They can be acquired by going after Devious monsters, or just like the rest of hearts, you can craft them.

S – Tier

  • Retaliation: You deal around 510 – 680 Fire damage to your surrounding when Crowd Control is off. To get this Caged Heart,  play on World Tier 3 or 4.
  • Pushing Speed: Barbarians gain a 20 – 30 percent chance to know down enemies for 1.25 seconds when an attack speed is faster than 35 percent.

A – Tier

  • Frozen Terror: Upon Lucky Hit Necromancers have a 10-20 percent chance of causing Fear for 2.5 seconds. Feared enemies are then Chilled for 20 percent per second.

B – Tier

  • Inexorable Force – While Druids are using their Ultimate Skill, they’ll pull around fifty enemies closer to them.
  • The Calculated: Once you spend 150 – 200 primary resources, your next attack will also Stun enemies for 2 seconds. To get this heart, you must be in World Tier 3 or 4.

C – Tier

  • The Clipshot: When a Rouge gets Lucky Hit, they get a 20 – 40 percent chance that their Cutthroat Skill slows enemies for 40 percent for 3 seconds. Additionally, the Markman Skills will knock back enemies now.
  • Spite – If a Sorcerer is hit by a Crowd Control effect, there will be a 20 – 40 percent chance the enemy will get hit with the same effect for 3 seconds.

Best Wrathful Hearts ranked – tier list

These hearts are fairly rare, however, you can still craft them but that may take you some time since the Wrathful Invokers are hard to come by. But, just like the other hearts Wrathful enemies will drop these hearts, so look in Malignant tunnels for those variations. Wrathful hearts are your Super powers, so they have probably the strongest stats.

S – Tier

  • Ignoring Pain: Incoming attacks for Baribrians have a 5 – 15 percent chance of being ignored. Instead of hurting, you’ll get healed for 17 – 68 percent. This is only available on World Tier 4.
  • Omnipower: Core Skills used by my Sorcerers will use all the Mana, however, for every 45 – 35 mana used, you’ll send out one more projectile attack that damages for 5 percent. You’ll find this heart in World Tier 4.

A – Tier

  • The Unconstrained Beast: For Druids that are hit by Stun, Freez, or Knockdown, a 60 percent chance to earn Grizzle Rage for 3 seconds. Just like most of the other Wrathful Hearts, you have to be on World Tier 4.

B – Tier.

  • Creeping Death: Damage over time increased by 30-40 percent for different effects on Crowd Control skills. Bosses and Unstoppable monsters take 110 – 130 percent damage over time.

C – Tier

  • The Vile Aopthercary: Rouges now have a 15 percent chance to apply Imbuement effects at around 50 percent.
  • The Great Feast: Each minion for the Necromancer drains about 2 Essensce, but the damage is increased by 75 percent. When there aren’t any minions on the field, the bonus goes to the Necromancer itself.  It can be found on World Tier 4.
