For the Wrathful Malignant Hearts.

There are plenty of new features that came with Season of the Malignant in Diablo 4. If you’re someone who wants to collect a plethora of Malignant and Caged Hearts, you’ll probably need some Invokers. Specific Invokers will earn you specific types of Malignant Hearts, which is good for farming. But how would you specifically get a Wrathful Invoker in Diablo 4? Keep reading to find out.

Diablo 4: Where to get a Wrathful Invoker

During Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant, how you can get your hands on a Wrathful Invoker is by crafting an Uncertain Invoker. Once you begin the Season event, you’ll eventually meet Cormond, and are able to use his workbench. Cormond’s Workbenches are in various locations around Sanctuary, and they’ll allow you to craft Caged Hearts and Malignant Invokers.

The only issue is that out of the four types of Invokers and Malignant Hearts, the Wrathful ones are the rarest. This also means that you won’t see it under the Malignant Invokers tab. Instead, go under the Crafted Cache tab and you’ll see an Uncertain Heart and Uncertain Invoker. There are four things you’ll need to craft this Uncertain Invoker.

  • 40 Brutal Malignant Ichor
  • 40 Vicious Malignant Ichor
  • 40 Devious Malignant Ichor
  • 1,000 Gold

All types of enemies can drop Ichor, which is a new crafting material in Diablo 4 Season 1. You can also salvage Caged Hearts for Ichor. Once you craft the Uncertain Invoker, you’ll receive a random type of Invoker. Basically, the only way to get a Wrathful Invoker is by crafting an Uncertain Invoker and hoping the odds are in your favor.

Other types of Invokers are occasional mob drops, but from my research, they don’t seem to drop Wrathful ones. Once you have a Wrathful Invoker, you can use it to farm Wrathful Malignant Hearts in Malignant Tunnels. Check out our guide on how to use Malignant Invokers if you’re confused as to how you do this.
