Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk Thief Skills Guide

To be honest, the Thief is probably my least favorite character in The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos. Whether he’s striking up close or hitting from afar, he barely matches the capabilities of others. Still, here’s our Thief skills guide to help you out.

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: Thief skills guide

Here are some of the active and passive skills I selected for the Thief during The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk‘s campaign. Choose wisely due to the limited number of skill points and the level 10 cap.

Active skills:

Tier Skill Effect Additional Notes
I Sneaky Strike Backstab that does 200% damage This only works if the Thief is directly behind the target. You might want to use an “aggro/taunt” spell first.
I Caltrops Does low damage, but it immobilizes the target This can be useful, but it gets resisted half the time.
I Stealth Becomes invisible and can move around; will be automatically revealed if within 3 tiles in front of an enemy Again, this can be useful, but you’ll probably get discovered every now and then.
I Disarm Trap Allows you to disarm traps during combat and exploration This is unlocked by default. You can also swap to the Thief during exploration to disarm traps and gain an Explosive Bomb.
IV Nervous Burst Chain three attacks in succession; each attack has a precision penalty; missing an attack will break the combo Upgrade this so you have four consecutive attacks. This is probably the Thief’s most useful skill and it comes very late in the game.

Passive skills:

Tier Skill Effect Additional Notes
I Better Safe Than Sorry Lets you wear heavy leather armor Get this so you can equip better armor pieces.
I Lone Wolf +5/10% crit chance when there are no adjacent allies This is useful as long as you stay away from teammates.
II Bomberman Bombs are stronger and have additional effects A good example would be the Ice Bomb which normally hits one target. If you have this passive, it can hit 6 tiles instead (potentially freezing anyone in those tiles).
III Poisoned Daggers Regular melee attacks have a +20% chance to poison targets This is helpful since you probably won’t be spamming other skills anyway.
III Exploiting Weaknesses +10% more damage on targets suffering from a status effect Have a teammate cast or throw anything that causes a status effect, and let the Thief focus on that foe.
IV Cunning Agility +1/2 AGI and +2/6 dodge This boosts your defensive and offensive capabilities.
