The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos – Guides and features hub

Starting your journey

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos is a new turn-based tactical RPG from developer Artefacts Studio and publisher Dear Villagers. It’s based on a fan-made audio and comic book web series that’s available for free. However, the entire thing’s in French and, as far as I know, no complete translations to other languages exist.

Still, the game borrows several tropes from fantasy and pop culture, and you’re bound to have a few laughs and chuckles along the way. Here’s our guides and features hub to help you out.

Official review – Your playthrough of The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos will likely take 15 to 20 hours. During your journey, you’ll meet a wonderful cast of characters and partake in numerous battles. But the question remains: is it worth your while? Let’s find out in our official review.

The Paladin, the Priestess, or the Minstrel? – Fairly early on, you’re going to have to choose which character would complete your party. Will it be the haughty Priestess, the devout Paladin, or the aloof Minstrel?

Character/class guide: The basics – We take a look at the various stats and possible allocations when coming up with your character builds in The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos.

Ranger skills – The suave Ranger leads your party and he’s quite a versatile character to boot.

Elf skills – The dainty Elf finds a lot of stuff icky, but she’s deadly from afar.

Barbarian skills – The gruff Barbarian is an absolute powerhouse.

Wizardess skills – The Wizardess is the main caster of the team and she’s quite proficient when it comes to magic.

Ogre skills – The Ogre might be a lumbering oaf, but he can soak a ton of damage.

Dwarf skills – The Dwarf likes to cuss out everyone he meets. Then again, you could forgive him since he’s also a sturdy tank.

Thief skills – The Thief is quite a loner, though he’s got some sneaky skills to help out during battles.

Priestess skills – I decided to bring the Priestess along as I ventured further in The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk. I think I made the right choice since her healing spells were extremely beneficial.

The final chapter and the final boss – After many ups and downs (literally and figuratively since you’re exploring the dungeon’s many floors), you’ll do battle against a formidable sorcerer.

The demon statues and the secret boss – There’s one more puzzle for you to solve, and it leads to a battle against a secret boss.
