Enjoy this broken Tyr “Snakeshot” build while it lasts in MW3 Warzone

Oh, no, they're back!

There have been countless broken builds in Warzone over the years, but few can match the Snakeshots. These hand cannons terrorized players of all skill levels and were an absolute menace in close-quarters combat.

I think we can all agree that the Akimbo Snakeshots are best left dead and buried, but unfortunately, they are back, sort of.

What is the Tyr Snakeshot build?

The Akimbo Tyrs are making the rounds on social media, with many content creators posting ridiculous kills with them. This clip from Rhys Price on X is the most egregious I’ve seen and shows how effortlessly they can destroy a trio team.

These guns are so powerful because they can down opponents in a split second. Sure, you need to be up close, but two hits are all it takes to knock an opponent down, and you can fire those shots simultaneously.

If you want to try them out for yourself, here’s the build:

  • Rear Grip: Akimbo Tyr
  • Laser: Verdant Hook Mounted Laser
  • Barrel: ZIU-16 Heavy Long Barrel
  • Ammunition: 12.7X55MM Snake Shot
  • Trigger Action: Ullr’s Fury

The developers have been exemplary with their communication with the community since MW3 dropped and have reacted quickly to feedback. With this in mind, I highly doubt these weapons will function this way for long.

Will I get banned for using the Akimbo Tyrs?

We can’t say for sure, although you’re unlikely to receive any penalties as the guns are in the game and available to everyone. That said, with so many players wary of cheaters in Warzone, you may catch a few reports, so use these guns at your own risk.

If you want to use a powerful weapon that won’t get you banned or reported, take this Fennec 45 build for a spin. The Fennec caught a nerf recently, but you can still delete people insanely fast up close.
