The season has come once again for little princesses and their royal seneschals, with a fan-tastic spin.

From March 1 until March 15, the Final Fantasy XIV team is running the annual Little Ladies’ Day event, a celebration of the women in the realm, giving them a special day to be a princess based off of the real-world Japanese holiday Hinamatsuri. While the rewards are limited, the event features a long-awaited addition to the Orchestrion, a new dance emote, and a glimpse into new Ul’dah lore with a heartwarming family story. Here’s a full guide to Little Ladies Day 2023 in FFXIV, with a quest breakdown and the rewards.

FFXIV: Little Ladies Day 2023 guide – Completing the quest

First, your character must have completed the Main Scenario Quest ‘It’s Probably Pirates.’ Speak to the Royal Seneschal in Ul’dah Steps of Nald in front of Ruby Road (10.5, 8.6), equidistant from the main plaza Aetheryte or the Adventurer’s Guild Aetheryte to begin the event quest ‘Inheritance.’

The NPC asks you to seek out Aldithya, who you may remember from previous years. She is sitting on the bench at the Gold Court in the Steps of Thal. The closest Aetheryte is the Gladiator’s Guild, from which head up the stairs to access the court and talk to her for a cutscene (11.1, 11.2).

The next objective has two different NPCs to talk to. The Mythril Eye Reporter is up the stairs from the Thaumturge’s Guild Aetheryte at (7.7, 12.3). Grizzled Historian is the second NPC, and is found inside The Quicksands by the Adventurer’s Guild Aetheryte (11.4, 9.4). Next, return to Aldithya at the Gold Court for a cutscene.

The next step involves talking to three different NPCs. The first is behind you up the stairs from the Gladiator’s Guild Aetheryte standing by Eshtaime’s Aesthetics (10.1, 12.4), called Willowy Noblewoman. After you finish talking to her, go downstairs to the Goldsmiths’ Guild Aetheryte and port over to Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Haughty Mother will be in front of the Potwatch vendor Katherine at (13.9, 9.9) and Restless Nobleman is right ahead on the left at the end of the avenue (13.3, 9.3). Then return to Aldithya for another cutscene.

Finally, complete the quest at Ruby Road (10.6, 9.2) by talking to Fortin for one last, longer cutscene.
