For a whole month, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG will take players into a blast from the past by bringing back old seasons. We’ll go over the Fortnite OG season schedule, and explore all the changes, updates, and release dates you should know about.
It’s a busy month for Fortnite fans, so buckle up. Not only will you be able to experience one of the old seasons, but even more original seasons you may have missed.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG schedule dates and features
The entire month of November is jam-packed with throw-back content. If you’re confused about which seasons are happening when, we can clear the confusion for you. Here is the Fortnite OG season schedule, including release dates, then updates and changes:
- November 3-9: Season 5
- November 9-16: Season 6
- November 16-23: Seasons 7 and 8
- November 23 – December 2: Season 9 and X
Sadly, Fortnite OG ends on December 2, but you still have a whole month dedicated to old season nostalgia. Here’s what each week has to offer.
Fortnite OG Season 5
With update v27.00, players from November 3-9 are able to revisit the beloved Tilted Towers, amongst other great locations. You’ll have the chance to use the Shopping Kart and All Terrain Kart for traversal.
Not only that, but explosive items like the Grappler, Boogie Bomb and Damage Trap make a return. You should also spot weapons like the Assault Rifle and Pump Shotgun.
Fortnite OG Season 6
With a hotfix slated for November 9, Fortnite OG Season 6 may be a little late to the spooky party, but it was a Halloween-themed season. Darkness Rises again upon Loot Lake!
Some new things you’ll notice during this week are the Mounted Turret, Driftboard, Double Barrel Shotgun, Six Shooter, and Quadcrasher. More is to come, but these are some of the more notable items and weapons, according to Epic.

Fortnite OG Season 7 and 8
In a mashup of two seasons, week 3 of Fortnite OG will have a hotfix on November 16 with update v27.10. This will bring along a snowy biome and pirate-themed hot drops.
Do you remember the X-4 Stormwing plane or the Pirate Cannon? They’ll be making a return during this week. Also, You’ll be able to dig up unvaulted Buried Treasure in the pirate camps and snow biome.
Fortnite OG Season 9 and X
For the final week of Fortnite OG, players will be able to re-experience Season 9 and X with update v27.11 on November 23.
Players can make use of The Baller and Jetpacks, two wild transportation devices. There will also be items and weapons returning like Storm Flip, Proximity Grenade Launcher, Junk Rift, Air Strike, and more!
Unfortunately, Fortnite OG ends on December 2, but hopefully, the proceeding season will be just as fun, if not even better than Fortnite OG. Although it’s hard to beat nostalgia.
