The best build for Fischl in Genshin Impact starts with choosing a solid weapon. Fischl is a free-to-play friendly character, synergizing well with many 4-star options while being a 4-star character herself. Here are some of your best options:
Aqua Simulacra – This is Fischl’s best 5-star option. It boosts her Crit DMG by a significant 88.2%, which is an extremely high boost in Fischl’s damage. The passive is also useful for Fischl, increasing the damage dealt by Fischl by 20% when any opponents are nearby. This works even when Fischl is off-field. This is by far Fischl’s best weapon for most situations, but is also a luxury weapon as a 5-star weapon you have to pull for.
The Stringless – This is Fischl’s best 4-star option and is also a great free-to-play option. The Stringless increases Fischl’s Elemental Master by 165 at Level 90, increasing the power of her Dendro x Electro reactions. It also increases the damage of her Elemental Skill by 48%, which empowers Oz to do even greater damage.

Thundering Fury – The 4-piece Thundering Fury set increases Fischl’s DMG bonus from Aggravate by 20%, and also reduces the cooldown of her Elemental Skill when Quicken is activated by 1s. This is helpful for Fischl’s Oz uptime, ensuring that there’s little to no downtime for her trusty bird companion.
Thundering Fury + 80 EM: Alternatively, you can use a 2-piece Thundering Fury set and combine it with any neutral 2-piece Elemental Mastery set for a little more direct damage to Fischl’s Elemental Reactions.
