Blessing in Disguise
During the initial dialogue sequence with Chongyun, tell him that the clues are farfetched. He’ll be shocked, and you’ll both notice a kid staring at you. While talking to the kid, choose to give him only one popsicle.
Book clues
After giving the kid one popsicle, head to Wanwen Bookhouse. This conversation will present you with three sets of options, and picking the wrong ones will deduct two heartbeat marks. If you pick the incorrect replies thrice, you’ll fail Chongyun’s Hangout Event.
Here are the correct choices for each set:
- Set 1: “There’s a ghostly shadow skulking about Feiyun Slope at night.”
- Set 2: “Deep in the sea of clouds, a marauding demon has been raiding commercial fishing boats and building a luxurious palace.”
- Set 3: “There’s a vigilant demon adept at concealing itself in mist. Recently, people have found traces of it in Mingyun Village, Guili Plains, and Yaoguang Shoal.”
After this, you’ll go to Wuwang Hill. Follow the marker and battle the hilichurls. It does seem a bit disappointing that these are the only enemies you’ll face. Still, you’ll obtain the “Blessing in Disguise” ending for Chongyun’s Hangout Event.
