Genshin Impact Perilous Trail event guide – Lurking Peril quest
If you meet the aforementioned requirements, make your way to the marked location in The Chasm. There, you’ll meet a whole slew of characters.
First, the Traveler and Paimon will encounter Yanfei. Next, Arataki Itto and Kuki Shinobu (an upcoming character) show up. You then need to head to the center of the area, whereupon Yelan introduces herself.
There’s a bit of animosity between Itto and Yelan. Before the two could duke it out, though, the ground rumbles and the group falls down a pit. Finally, Xiao appears, chiding everyone before teleporting away (classic Xiao!).
After the conversations, you’ll discover a portal to the Chamber of Twisted Cranes domain. Inside, you’ll battle foes like Slimes and Hilichurls to unlock switches.
Activating switches will cause the landscape to rotate, opening new areas for you to reach.
Upon clearing the domain, you’ll find yourself back in the underground zone, but there’s no way out. After talking to the other characters, a notification about the Realms of Guile and War will appear. We discuss that activity in a separate guide. For now, let’s talk about the rewards that you can receive in this particular event.
