The action roguelike (or is it rogue-lite?) game Hades is filled to the brim with items and artifacts for you to discover throughout your journey. As mentioned in our beginner’s guide, you’ll be able to keep most of your resources to be used in successive playthroughs. But, what exactly are they all for? Well, here’s our items and artifacts guide to help you out.

Hades: Items and artifacts guide

For this guide, I’ve separated Hades‘ items and artifacts into two distinct groups. Refer to each page below for the ones you’d need help in:

The important stuff: Room-clearing rewards – These are artifacts such as Nectar, Ambrosia, Centaur Hearts, Diamonds, Titan Blood, and more. If they’re rewards for clearing a room, you’ll find them here.

Charon’s shop and the Well of Charon power-ups – Room rewards are also part of Charon’s shop, among other things. Still, the Ferryman of the River Styx has got some other power-ups for sale.
