Best build for Seele in Honkai Star Rail: Relics, Light Cones, Eidolons and Abilities

If you read our guide to the best characters to reroll for in Honkai Star Rail, you know that Seele is the cream of the crop. If you already have her in your party, congratulations; you’ve won the lottery.

To best improve Seele, equip gear that improves her damage output. She has a few options, depending on what luck of the draw (and the size of your wallet) make available to you. DPS is the imperative. That way, Seele swoops in and hits a powerful target hard so other party members can get started on cleanup.

For her Relic, you want to mix the Genius of Brilliant Stars set and the Celestial Differentiator set. Wearing two pieces of Genius of Brilliant Stars gear adds 10% to any Quantum damage inflicted. Pairing that with Celestial Differentiator adds an 8% increase to the wearer’s Crit Rate, plus a 20% enhancement to Basic ATK and Skill DMG when the Crit Rate reaches 80% or higher.

The dream Light Cone is In the Night, if you can manage it. This further increases Basic ATK and Skill DMG ratings, and their Ultimate will hit 8% harder (which is stackable). Other options are still good, including Arrows. It also increases the Crit Rate.

Seele gains access to a variety of powerful abilities that build upon her basic stats. Butterfly Flurry, her Ultimate, allows her to slam a single foe with Quantum damage at 240% of her usual ATK rating. Her passive abilities supercharge an already compelling list of skills, so make sure not to ignore them as you customize your character.

Finally, Seele’s Eidolons greatly add to her battle efficiency. Butterfly Dance, the first Eidolon she unlocks, allows her SPD boost to stack twice. Cut Off increases Seele’s Crit Rate by 15% when attacking weakened enemies that have already lost half or more of their HP. It all works to allow her to hit harder and more often, which is a big deal when combined with the right gear.
