Upon making it to Jarilo-VI, a planet covered in snow and ice, you’ll eventually unlock the Administrative District. Once there, you’ll be able to complete this little quest. Although this isn’t your typical quest, it can still earn you some good rewards, depending on what you do with the letters.

There are four Misdelivered Letters in total, each located on the maps below. You’ll find each of them slotted in one of the many red mailboxes scattered across this area. Upon interacting with the mailbox, you should be given the choice of either taking the letter stuck halfway in, or pushing it fully inside.

If you decide to push the letter inside, you’ll receive a ‘Praise of High Morals’. Finding these leads to another hidden quest. At the fountain in the middle of the district, you can use this item to earn yourself some rewards. You can receive the ‘Praise of High Morals’ item anytime you do a small task that offers you a moral choice, as long as you choose the morally correct one. There are over a dozen of these opportunities around the game, so you’ll have lots of chances to get this item. The fountain allows you to use ‘Praise of High Morals’ five times.

Although, there is still a reward for taking the letters. Two of the misdelivered letters are in their own separate mailboxes, but the third mailbox is different. If you go to the mailbox close to the Goethe Hotel, there’s an option to take one of two letters. You can take the one on the left, or the one on the right. Sadly, you can’t take both, but you can push them both in instead. So overall, you can take up to three Misdelivered Letters.

But what can you do with them? Right outside the Neverwinter Workshop, you’ll see an NPC named Manya. One at a time, you can give her the unsent letters, each earning you 1000 credits. In total, you can earn up to 3000 credits or three ‘Praise of High Morals’ for completing this hidden quest! This makes discovering how to find all the Misdelivered Letters in Honkai: Star Rail worth your time.
