How to find Horde Rush Quest locations in Fortnite

These quests can be difficult to find, but we have your answers!

If you’re having trouble finding the Horde Rush quests in Fortnite, don’t worry, many people are. The new UI change to the game has caused a bit of confusion, but we’ve got you covered. Below we’ll detail how to play Horde Rush and the benefits of it.

How do I find the Horde Rush Quest start?

To find Horde Rush Quests in Fortnite, start at the Fortnite Lobby like you usually would, and then follow the directions below to find Horde Rush Quests:

  1. Look below the lobby to see the Discover menu.
  2. Scroll further down until you hit the By Epic category.
  3. Look through the list of modes until you find Horde Rush and click it.
  4. Press Select in the menu that appears.
    • You’ll end up back in the lobby after this.
  5. Press Play in the lower-right corner to launch the game.

Remember that this is a limited time mode, so after Fortnitemares, the Horde Rush Quests should be gone.

What are all of the Horde Rush Quests?

There are quite a few quests you need to complete, here they are in alphabetical order for ease:

  • Accumulate team points (0/1,000,000) – 25,000 XP
  • Assist in collecting score multipliers (0/5) – 25,000 XP
  • Assist in opening chests in Horde Rush (0/75) – 25,000 XP
  • Deal melee damage to Cube Monster spawners (0/6,000) – 25,000 XP
  • Earn a x40 KO Streak (0/1) – 25,000 XP
  • Eliminate Cube Monsters using explosives (0/200) – 25,000 XP
  • Help defeat the Boss in the final stage of Horde Rush (0/1) – 25,000 XP
  • Hit headshots on Cube Monsters from at least 15 meters away (0/100) – 25,000 XP
  • Upgrade weapons at an upgrade bench in Horde Rush (0/5) – 25,000 XP

Rewards for finishing the Horde Rush Quests

You don’t need to finish all of the quests to get the free Fortnitemares items, instead, just finish seven to get any that come with Horde Rush quests. Here are the rewards:

  • Finish one Horde Rush Quest and you’ll earn the Murk Wrap
  • Finish four Horde Rush Quests and you’ll earn the Heart-o-Lantern Emoticon
  • Finish seven Horde Rush Quests and you’ll earn the Batwing Bonespike Pickaxe
