What is the Cruisewing Echo Challenge in Wuthering Waves?

Cruisewing Echo Challenges are pretty unique as you morph into a flying bug to attempt them. When you’re in your new winged form, you must quickly fly through rings to collect enough points before the time limit expires.

You can attempt them by interacting with specific structures on the world map (pictured above). I’ve only found two of these so far, but there are likely more. Keep in mind that these challenges don’t have a marker, so it may be best to beat them before you move on.

Wuthering Waves: How to Win a Cruisewing Echo Challenge

Cruisewing Challenges are tricky for a few reasons. It’s easy to get lost, the controls are terrible, and the time limit makes the challenge far more tense than it should be. Don’t worry if you lose, as you can repeat as many times as you like.

The controls will be your biggest adversary during these challenges. If you’re using a controller, you can steer in every direction with the left stick. The right stick governs speed, and you can push up to go faster and pull back to slow down. While there is a time limit, I strongly recommend playing slowly.

You’ll take longer to reach targets, but you won’t waste time missing them and trying to reposition. You can almost stop completely in midair, so take your time to nail those tight corners. If you’re trying to get the maximum score, you must hit every target, so it doesn’t matter which ones you go for first.

The gold ring immediately ends the challenge when you fly through it, so it must be the last one you reach. You’ve got enough time to make a few mistakes, but it can take a few attempts to memorize the layout of the targets. These Challenges may be difficult, but they are well worth finishing as the reward for maximum points is three chests, including an Advanced one.

If you’re exploring the map, you may encounter the Shooting Practice challenge. It’s a fun task with decent rewards, and you don’t even need a gun to complete it!
