Best strategy to easily beat Sea Spider in Armored Core 6

The strategy that I found works best to beat Sea Spider in Armored Core 6 is to get really close to it and use explosive weapons. To win, I highly suggest using one of the best builds in AC6, in particular the tank build.

In the first part of the battle, Sea Spider stays on the ground. While you can find success using a tetrapod build to hover over the battlefield, I think the tank build is best for this battle because you can take a lot of damage and dish out a lot of damage, especially when Sea Spider is staggered.

While on the ground, Sea Spider frequently uses a two-hit laser shot. You can predict this attack by looking for the red glint coming from Sea Spider. When you see that, mash the dash button to get out of the way. The key to winning every boss battle in Armored Core 6 is mitigating as much damage as you can.

Another big attack that you need to dodge is Sea Spider’s two-legged lung attack. When Sea Spider rears up, dodge out of the way quickly to avoid taking damage and getting staggered.

About halfway through the fight, Sea Spider will launch and stay in the air. When this happens, you’ll want to try and stay directly below Sea Spider while continuing to dish out damage.

There will be big attacks that you’ll need to avoid, like the spinning attack and the laser shot. If you’re a bipedal mecha, continue to jump around the stage and dash often. If you’re a tank, save your dashes for the right moment.

After mastering Sea Spider’s attack patterns, you’ll beat the boss. It’s a hard boss battle, but at least now you can move on to bigger and better things like PvP.
