Those wild animals surely would love to have a new LEGOfied friend. Well, they are in luck! Here is how to build and use the Animal House in LEGO Fortnite.
LEGO Fortnite: How to build the Animal House
Farming is here on a major scale in LEGO Fortnite thanks to the Farm Friends update. The main addition to the game is the Animal House. This is a new building that will serve as the new home for your animal friends – therefore, Animal House, thanks Captain Obvious.
This new Station will allow you to feed your animals by providing Animal Treats and it will allow for resource farming. Your Village will need to be at least on Level 2 and you will have to use the following materials to build it:
- 10x Plank: Refine wood in a Lumber Mill.
LEGO Fortnite: How to use the Animal House
To use the Animal House, you will first have to create the aforementioned Animal Treats. These treats are how you will gain the trust of wild animals along with the necessary petting. You can craft these Animal Treats at a Grill (30x Granite) and they will require the following materials:
- 5x Vines: Chop down bushes.
- 3x Corn: Found in Grasslands, or farmed.
Once you have built solid trust with them, you will now have to travel with them back to your Village and your Animal House. You will only get a limited amount of time to travel back and you will need to avoid any unnecessary fighting with hostile creatures since these will upset your farming animals. To do this, you can make use of the new Vehicles introduced in the previous update to make the journey less dangerous and considerably faster.
Once you reach your Village, you can now interact with the Animal House to assign your new animal and name it. Only one animal per Animal House is allowed, so be sure to build several of these to support your new farming friends. Don’t forget to continue to pet them, feed them, and keep them entertained by building objects they can interact with!
