With the help of the vampire hunter Erys, they’ll challenge the invading forces of Lord Zir, making use of a new suite of Vampiric Powers along the way. One of the most involved quests in this line is Beckoning Thirst, a Sanctuary-wide hunt for five notable Bloodseekers that will see you diving in and out of Dungeons like you’re playing Legend of Zelda. This is a lengthy quest, so if you’re unsure of how to complete Beckoning Thirst in Diablo 4 Season 2, then read on for all the information you need.

How to slake your Beckoning Thirst in Diablo 4 Season 2

This quest begins right after you’re done with A Witness in the Dust, a quest in which you attempt to enter Lord Zir’s domain, the City of Ancients, but fail to do so. At this point, Erys tasks you with defeating five powerful Ascended Bloodseekers, who have taken up residence in Dungeons across Sanctuary. These Bloodseekers are as follows: Norwalc of Kurast, Chaz’bak of Crane Tribe, Vyzviana of Backwater, Addrine of the Taan, and Togna of Corbach. You can tackle these 5 in any order you choose, but we’ve presented them below in the order the game lists them.

Where to find Norwalc in Diablo 4

The first Ascended Bloodseeker on Erys’ hit list is Norwalc of Kurast, the Necromancer. You can find them in the Sunken Library Dungeon, on the southern edge of Kehjistan. You’ll need to progress through the majority of the Dungeon before Norwalc shows up, somewhere around the normal end point. As with all Bloodseekers, they have a lot of health, but if you deal with any surrounding enemies first you can focus your attacks on them and bring them down fairly easily.

It’s worth noting that you don’t actually have to finish the Dungeon you find each Bloodseeker in once you’ve killed them, but I’d recommend doing so anyway, since otherwise the work you put in to reach them will be wasted. Collecting Aspects from Dungeons contributes to your Seasonal Journey anyway, so it’s well worth doing.

Where to find Chaz’bak in Diablo 4

Next up is Chaz’bak of Crane Tribe, the Barbarian. This Bloodseeker lurks in the Kor Dragan Barracks Dungeon in Fractured Peaks, right next to the Kor Dragan Stronghold. While it may sound like it, you don’t actually have to complete the nearby Stronghold in order to gain access to this Dungeon. You’ll find Chaz’bak quite deep into the Dungeon, so be on your guard for his ambush as you move through. The same tactics you used on Norwalc apply here too: clear out the enemies, then focus down Chaz’bak.

Where to find Vyzviana in Diablo 4

Ascended Bloodseeker number 3 is Vyzviana of Blackwater, the Rogue. You can find her hanging out in the Heathen’s Keep Dungeon in the north-west section of Hawezar. As before you’ll need to make a good amount of progress before she rears her head. Unlike her predecessors, however, Vyzviana is incredibly agile due to her class, and capable of doing serious damage to you as a result. The moment you encounter her can be hectic for this reason, but just keep your cool, deal with the surrounding enemies first, and you’ll be able to bring her down with few problems.

Where to find Addrine and Togna in Diablo 4

The last two Ascended Bloodseekers are unique in that they appear in the same Dungeon, and attack you together once you encounter them. They are Addrine of the Taan, the Sorcerer, and Togna of Corbach, the Druid. You’ll find them both in the Carrion Fields Dungeon, on the west side of the Dry Steppes. This is a fairly open Dungeon with branching paths and a central objective to complete, and you can encounter this pair pretty much anywhere during your journey through it.

Because they attack together, your battle with Addrine and Togna feels reminiscent of the Bloodseeker duos you fight during Blood Harvest events. As with those fights, you’ll want to pick one Bloodseeker to focus down first, so that you can even the odds. I’d recommend choosing Addrine for this, since she’s more fragile than Tonga, and therefore easier to burst down and get out of the way. Once you’ve slain both of them, the Beckoning Thirst quest will immediately be complete. You don’t even need to finish the rest of the Dungeon, but of course I’d recommend you do so anyway.

Your rewards

For completing Beckoning Thirst, in addition to the usual nice chunk of XP and Gold, you’ll receive a few nice rewards. Most importantly, you’ll unlock the Hectic Vampiric Power, a great choice for those who enjoy spamming out their basic Skills, such as Rogues. You’ll also receive the Rare Blood Seeker’s Helm, which is unremarkable stats-wise but does come with unique flavor text that links it to this quest. Finally, you’ll get a random Pact item as well: useful for getting the most out of your Vampiric Powers later on.

And there you have it: a full guide on how to complete Beckoning Thirst in Diablo 4 Season 2. It’s one of the longest stretches in the Seasonal questline, but the rewards, particularly the Hectic Vampire Power, make it well worth persevering with.
