How to cure Major Injury in Palworld

Pal trainer by day, doctor by night

Your Pals can and will take a beating, but like all living things, they can get hurt. To hone in on the survival elements of Palworld, your Pals can get Weakened, Poisoned, or hit with other status effects. Another effect that handicaps your Pal is Major Injury.

It’s a big one in Palworld, and we’ll show you how to cure Major Injury. It’s worth reading this guide because your Pals will thank you.

Palworld: How to cure Major Injury

This status effect can happen at any time. When I was out catching Pals, I had to weaken them before catching them. This way, the chance goes up that Pal Sphere stays closed. However, when they’re down to almost one health, they’ll get hit with the Major Injury label. You can send the Pal back its Pal Sphere to get rid of it. If you’re at a base, ensure they’re sleeping, this will bring their health back quickly. You may also send them to your Pal Box, just make sure you upgrade it high enough to hold the right amount of Pals.

You may be thinking a Medicine Table could be the ultimate solution since it can cure all ailments. However, as I was looking through my recipes, I couldn’t find one that fixed the Major Injury problem. With that being said, Palworld is in early access, so there may be a recipe coming later on. But for the time being, the methods above seem to work best.

What happens when a Pal has a Major Injury

For one, they won’t be able to fight for you and will need rest. If you’re at the base and have Pals with the status effect, they won’t be able to work either. If a Pal is hit with any sort of negative buff, they can become less productive. So it’s always a good idea to get your Pals to rest even if they don’t have a Major Injury.

Having a major injury is kind of bad, and can cause issues. You know what doesn’t do any of that? Mods. We got some of the best Mods here to make Palworld even more fun.

Palworld is in early access now via Steam, Game Pass, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
