Your base might start small, but it will eventually become massive if you know what you are doing and have some creativity. Here is how to upgrade the Palbox in Palworld.
Palworld: How to upgrade the Palbox
Get close to your Palbox and select the Upgrade option and you will see three different structures you must build to upgrade it. Some of them will be way above your level, so you will probably need to farm some XP first.
Upgrading the Palbox is not just something trivial like collecting resources. Its impact can be felt in Palworld since it will increase the number of Pals working on a base and the number of bases you can have at a time across the world. This means that you will be able to multiply your worker Pals to generate as many resources as possible, which at times is something fundamental given the rarity and cost of late-game items and structures.
If you haven’t unlocked the necessary Technology to build the Palbox upgrade structures, you will need to level up and spend your Technology points in the Technology tab on your menu. In the first few Palbox levels, you will encounter structures that you can unlock at your current level. Later levels will require you to level up your character to be able to unlock the structures. Otherwise, they will remain greyed out. This whole process can take a while, especially if you are aiming to build multiple bases.
Once you have built all the structures for the current Palbox upgrade, you will be able to upgrade it. This in turn upgrades your whole base. You will get the chance to have one more Pal at your base, and if you reach level 10 and level 15, you will be able to build a second and third base, respectively.
