Where to Find Brutes in LEGO Fortnite
Now, why would you want to know such a thing? I mean, don’t get me wrong, Brute encounters are fun, but they are extremely difficult to begin with. They will easily take you out, and I’m only talking about the base Brute variant. There are much harder Brutes in LEGO Fortnite, such as the Frost or the Sand Brute that will make a vanilla Brute encounter as hard as waking up in the morning and realizing you need to lose some weight.
Well, at least that’s my case, so it’s pretty much extremely easy. And yet again losing weight can be extremely hard, just like dealing with Brutes. Do you want to know where to find Brutes? Well, they will often appear at a completely random location, but you will find them easily thanks to their overall size. Here are all three types of Brutes and where to find them:
- Brute: Grasslands. They tend to appear near the shoreline.
- Sand Brute: Dry Valley. Located at a random spot across the biome.
- Frost Brute: Frostlands. Located at a random spot across the biome.
Best Ways to Defeat Brutes in Lego Fortnite
Now, why would you want…nah, just kidding. If you are at this part of this article you are pretty much set on facing Brutes. And that’s fine. After all, Brute Scales are only dropped by, well, Brutes, so you might reach a dead-end eventually during your progress in LEGO Fortnite. That end is a Brute, and the “dead” is you. Anyway, how do you take down this Brutes? Well, by completely avoiding them, of course.
Now, before you cancel me on social media, the trick is dealing ranged damage and never leaving the Brute out of your sight. So, avoiding direct contact with the Brute – unless you have really powerful items that will boost your defense – is the way you will defeat it. I recommend having a party of friends along with you to deal with multiple ranged attacks at the same time. Not only that but if other hostile creatures start to haunt you – something you must try to avoid when dealing with a Brute – then one of your party members can take care of them.

I know you wanted to have a one-on-one talk with the Brute by using your favorite melee weapon – and by talk, I mean a fight to the death -, but you are just better off shooting it from a distance. Quite anticlimactic, but you know what would be worse? Getting yourself killed.
