To be able to evolve Swadloon into Leavanny in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’re going to need to raise its friendship levels and then level it up. This can be done naturally over the course of your playtime, but it can take quite a while to do. If you want to do it quickly, there are a few different tricks you can use to increase friendship in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

The first thing you should know about friendship in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is that you can help it rise quickly by equipping a Soothe Bell to the Swadloon that you’re trying to evolve into a Leavanny. You can get yourself a Soothe Bell from Delibird Presents if you don’t have one on you. Other things that increase friendship include feeding your Pokémon certain items such as Exp Candies.
Another way to increase the friendship of your Swadloon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is to use the ‘Let’s Go’ mode and let them run around and fight for you in the field, as well as interact with them at Picnics. You can also just simply fight with them to raise friendship, but don’t let them faint as that decreases their friendship towards you.
