Easy farming methods

Twilight Fragments are useful for opening chests and healing you and your party in Persona 3 Reload, but how can you farm them?

While there are specific Twilight Fragment locations around the map, once those run out you need to look elsewhere for them.

There are a few different ways and locations you can come across Twilight Fragments, but you can farm them in Persona 3 Reload by upgrading your Social Links and exploring Tartarus. Once I ran out of the random Twilight Fragments I could find throughout the map, I was starting to realize just how little I had left.

Luckily, you can get yourself more Twilight Fragments by increasing your Social Link rank with someone. Anytime you reach a new rank with a Social Link, the next time you chat with Elizabeth she’ll gift you a few Twilight Fragments. Since each Social Link has 10 ranks, you can imagine how many Twilight Fragments you can receive just by spending time with your friends.

Farming Twilight Fragments in Tartarus

Another good way to farm Twilight Fragments is in Tartarus. While this method is a little more unreliable, it’s still good to keep an eye out while exploring each level. Sometimes in Tartarus, you’ll find a blue cluster you can break. This will give you a Twilight Fragment.

They’re a lot less common than the normal orange clusters full of treasure, so make sure to hit any Twilight Fragment cluster you find. Also, since the levels change each time you come back to Tartarus, you can’t run out of Twilight Fragments here.

One other way you can come across a good amount of Twilight Fragments is by completing certain Elizabeth requests. Ones like the Persona Fusion Milestones and the request for Jack Frost dolls will reward you with a few Twilight Fragments. This isn’t a farming method per se, since you can eventually run out of these requests and there aren’t that many, but it’s another good way to get them.

Speaking of requests, if you’re struggling to create a Persona with Kouha for request #6, we have a guide to help you out.
