How to use the Weapon Trade stations in Warzone

Weapon Trade Stations were originally in Warzone 2.0 but were removed for unknown reasons. Fortunately, they have made a return, and thank goodness they have as they are incredibly helpful. If you aren’t familiar with Weapon Trade Stations and what they do, just know that their main purpose is for players to trade weapons for loot.

Here is all the loot you can receive from a Weapon Trade Station in Warzone:

  • Ammo
  • Money
  • Field Upgrades
  • Gas Masks
  • Killstreaks
  • Lethal Grenades

In addition to the loot above, players will also earn a weapon that is a lower rarity than the one they trade-in. For example, if you trade in an Epic tier gun, the Weapon Trade Station has a chance to give you a Common, Uncommon, or Rare gun.

Additionally, according to the official Call of Duty blog, the Weapon Trade Stations have the possibility of rewarding the player with the new Specialist Perk Package during a Fire Sale.

Weapon Trade Stations can be found scattered across Rebirth Island’s map in Warzone. They are giant green lockers and are very hard to miss as they easily stand out. Weapon Trade Stations spawns are random and change every Warzone match.

The good news is that Weapon Trade Stations show up on your in-game map, making them easy to locate. I recommend checking and taking note of their locations at the start of each match.
