Ling’s Lab is one of the many buildings you will be visiting during your adventures in Coral Island. Since there are many other places to visit around it, it may become a bit crowded whenever you try to find it. The Laboratory is located in Starlet Town, which is the center of activities around Coral Island. Using your map, you can find it easily and also see whether it is open or not. Here are the opening hours for each day of the week:
- Monday: 8:00 – 17:00
- Tuesday: 8:00 – 17:00
- Wednesday: 8:00 – 17:00
- Thursday: 8:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 8:00 – 15:00
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: 8:00 – 17:00
So, why would you want to visit Ling’s Laboratory in Coral Island? Well, besides it being run by the only marine biologist — that is, Ling, of course — it is the place where you will be able to upgrade your produce quality. That means Ling will help you upgrade the quality of your Seeds, Plants, Fruit Trees, and Hay. Nothing is free, though, so you will have to give her various kinds of kelp essence that vary from Bronze to Osmium. These essences are crafted when you process the matching kelp in an extractor, with the kelp being available for you to collect at the ocean’s depths.

You will also find Surya in the Laboratory. He is one of the many characters in the game whom you can befriend and romance. With him, there are several reasons why you would like to visit the Laboratory. Just remember to bring your kelp essence with you!
