LEGO Fortnite: How to fly

If you’ve watched YouTubers fly around the map in LEGO Fortnite, know that they aren’t using mods or cheats and they don’t have a unique item that allows you to fly in LEGO Fortnite. No, the answer is much, much simpler than that.

The only way you can fly in LEGO Fortnite is if you are playing in Sandbox mode. Currently, LEGO Fortnite has two modes: Survival and Sandbox. In Survival, you need to earn everything by collecting it or building it yourself, and you can’t fly. In Sandbox, you have infinite resources and can build anything in the game, and you can fly.

If you want to fly in LEGO Fortnite, just create a Sandbox world from the Lobby. Sandbox mode takes away all the challenges associated with LEGO Fortnite, but it allows you to really let loose when building and exploring the world. It can help you discover the next steps you need to take in your Survival world, too.

Once you’re in a Sandbox world, all you need to do to fly is jump and press the jump button again while in midair. Now, you’ll levitate in midair. Use the sprint button to fly faster, hold down the jump button to go higher, and hold the crouch button to go lower. You can also exit the fly mode by double-tapping the jump button.

If you haven’t tried flying around in LEGO Fortnite Sandbox mode, I highly recommend it. It’s a lot of fun and extremely helpful to see everything that LEGO Fortnite has to offer in terms of building.
