How to get a free Legendary in Raid: Shadow Legends Monster Hunter x Raid Collab

Now THIS is a cool collab.

Raid: Shadow Legends has started an unexpected collaboration with Capcom’s iconic Monster Hunter series. Best of all, there’s a Legendary Champion up for grabs who’s available to everyone. Here’s How to get a free Legendary in Raid: Shadow Legends Monster Hunter x Raid Collab.

How to get the Rathalos Blademaster in Raid: Shadow Legends

All players can earn the Rathalos Blademaster by logging in for seven days during the Rathalos Chase event. The Rathalos Chase ends on March 5th, so the latest you can start is February 27. Players also get a complete set of Cruel Artifacts, and two of those are 6-Star Legendaries, which is nothing to scoff at.

Is the Rathalos Blademaster a strong Champion?

While we can’t say for sure until he’s available, his kit looks promising. The Rathalos Blademaster has solid base stats and unique skills that change when facing Bosses.

This Champion has an interesting Passive in his Rathalos Mastery skill, which makes enemies take more damage if they have an HP Burn Debuff. The Rathalos Blademaster also does 200% increased damage on every 5th skill used. With some setup, this Passive can potentially cause massive damage, but we’ll have to wait until the Champion is live for proper testing.

Even if you don’t plan on using the Champion in your main teams, he’s a Banner Lord and may have some utility in Faction Wars.

Can I get the Rathalos Blademaster after the event?

Traditionally, once a collab event is over in Raid, any Champions tied to it become unobtainable. This has been the case with multiple collaborations over the years and is unlikely to change with this Monster Hunter crossover. On the bright side, this is unlikely to be the last collab where a free Legendary is up for grabs.
