Redfall Stake Launcher

How to get a Stake Launcher in Redfall

High stakes.

Weapons are a massive part of Redfall’s gameplay loop. They’ll be what you’re looking to upgrade as the game goes on, and will be shooting them every step of the way. The loot system in Redfall makes getting new weapons a bit more time-consuming if you’re looking for particular weapons, but it also makes getting new weapons feel rewarding with the noticeable difference in how quickly better weapons take out enemies.

One of the unique weapon types in Redfall is the Stake Launcher. The Stake Launcher makes taking out vampires a breeze, and can stake them without needing to actually go up to them and manually stake them. Here’s how to get a Stake Launcher in Redfall.

How to get a Stake Launcher in Redfall

Getting a Stake Launcher in Redfall can be a bit of a nuisance if you don’t know where to look, but don’t worry, it might not all be you. Redfall’s loot is randomly generated, which means it’s mostly up to chance as to why you can’t find one. But hopefully with this guide you should be finding one soon enough.

Use the Armory

The Armory in Redfall is a great tool to use to get any weapon you want, but if you only want a certain weapon type, it might be even better. The Armory randomly generates different weapons for you to purchase at any point in the game, and you can get to it right from your home base in whichever of the two maps you’re in. You can also refresh the loot too, meaning if you have a boatload of resources, you can just dump them into this until it spits out the Stake Launcher you’re looking to use in Redfall.

Looting the environment

Getting a Stake Launcher in Redfall via the Armory is easier, sure, but finding one in the wild is a viable alternative to that which doesn’t cost any resources at all. Well, except for your time, that is. You could be looking for a while before you find yourself a Stake Launcher, and finding crates and killing vampires to potentially get ash piles to loot can take a while. But you can find crates in most places of interest, meaning if you can go inside a place, it might have a crate there.
