How to get a UV Beam in Redfall

Getting the UV Beam.

One of Redfall’s key features is the looting element of the game. From looting random containers, to people’s houses, you can get yourself some new loot and treasure just about anywhere in Redfall. One aspect of this loot system is the weapons. You can find weapons just about anywhere across Redfall, whether that be in crates or on the piles of ash some vampires leave behind. There are a few weapons in Redfall that you can get to make slaying vampires all the more simple, and one of these weapons is the UV Beam. Here’s our guide on how to get a UV Beam in Redfall.

How to get a UV Beam in Redfall

Getting a UV Beam in Redfall can be a bit of a pain if you’re unable to find one quickly. That’s because weapon drops and shops are randomly selected, meaning you need to rely on chance to get one. I, personally, didn’t find one until about 60% of the way through the game due to some rotten RNG on my side, but hopefully we can remedy that by giving you a method or two to help you out.

Using the Armory

The first way to try and get yourself a UV Beam in Redfall is to use the Armory. This is the most accessible way of finding it as it’s just inside your base whenever you need it. If you don’t find the UV Beam by doing this method straight away, you should be able to refresh the items the Armory is selling by spending some resources. If you have the resources to spare, this could get you a UV Beam very quickly depending on your luck.

Finding one out in the wild

You can also get a UV Beam out in the town of Redfall, whether that be from crates you find or need to unlock, or just from looting dead vampire ash. This method is a bit more chance-based than the Armory method, as you need to find places in the wild that drop weapons, which can be a tricky thing, and even when you find them, there’s no guarantee the one or two weapons they drop will be a UV Beam.

Hopefully, with these tips, you should be able to find yourself a UV Beam and start taking down vampires and clearing red smoke pretty quickly.
