Once you pick up your first Glyph, you’ll probably be wondering how you can actually use it. If you take a look at the Paragon Board, you’ll notice a spot or two with a Glyph Socket. Once you reach that point in the Paragon Board, you can attach a Glyph into it. While that’s how you use Glyphs, what about getting them in Diablo 4?

As soon as you unlock the Paragon Board, the game will give you a few Glyphs to start with. After that, enemies will sometimes drop Glyphs. Depending on what type of enemy and where you are, you can get a Rare Glyph, or even a Legendary Glyph. But these high-ranking Glyphs are only available if you’re on World Tier III.

Each Glyph adds a small bonus for your stats, and the higher ranked the Glyph is, the more powerful it will be. Glyphs also have a radius that will affect the Nodes surrounding it, as well as upgradable levels. Currently, there are four different types of Glyphs you can acquire.

  • Normal Nodes: Provide small bonuses to stats
  • Magic Nodes: Gives better bonuses to stats
  • Rare Nodes: Applies an Additional Bonus alongside a main Bonus
  • Legendary Nodes: Powerful bonuses and one available per Board

Use these Glyphs and unlock Nodes to create your perfect class build. While at first Glyphs may not seem that powerful, once you unlock rarer ones and upgrade them, you’ll be set for higher World Tiers and tougher monsters.
