Throughout your time playing this sci-fi strategy RPG, you may find yourself stumbling upon tasks that give you a moral dilemma. If you make the morally correct choice, you receive the Praise of High Morals item. One of the many hidden quests in Honkai: Star Rail involves getting Praise of High Morals in exchange for rewards. But where do you find them, and how do you use them?

How to use Praise of High Morals

If you find yourself in possession of this item, you’ll want to head towards the fountain in Jarilo-VI’s Administrative District. Fishing the treasure from the fountain lets you exchange a Praise of High Morals for small rewards. You can only do this five times, but there are over a dozen ways of getting Praise of High Morals. This is the main way to use them, but there are a few other uses.

  • Immortal in a Vase: Interact with the red vase in the Exalting Sanctum on Xianzhou Luofu, and on the second day you can exchange a Praise of High Morals for Upgrade Materials
  • Trash can: If you temper the trash can in Boulder Town on Jarilo-VI, it will take a Praise of High Morals for no reward
  • Dazzling Golden Watch: In the Administrative District’s basement level, you can interact with a suitcase to exchange one Praise of High Morals for a nice watch
  • Central Starskiff Haven Scroll: At this location on Xianzhou Luofu, use a Praise of High Morals to interact with a scroll for Strales and Credits

How to get Praise of High Morals

No matter where you are in Honkai: Star Rail, there’s probably a place to receive Praise of High Morals. In future updates, there may be more opportunities. But for now, here is a list of how and where to get this special item.

Watering the Strange Plant Base Zone, Herta Space Station Interact with the plant and choose to give it Pure Water. Come back the next day for another reward
Fix the curio Storage Zone, Herta Space Station Investigate the broken curio and fix it for two Praise of High Morals
Return the Light Cone Storage Zone, Herta Space Station Interact with the spot where Light Cone used to be, then tell the old Researcher ‘To be honest… none of them’
Investigate trash cans Master Control Zone, Herta Space Station Interact with three trash cans that ask you to pick up trash
Pushing letters in Mailboxes Adminitrative District, Jarilo-VI Interact with the red mailboxes with letters stuck in them and push them inside
Enter a closet Goethe Hotel, Administrative District Inside you room in the Everwinter Night quest, interact with the closet
