Whilst your down there, you will be able to indulge in the history of the place, taking in the honour of your Dwarven ancestors. You can raise monuments to them and reflect on their heroism using the Hero’s Tokens. Here’s how to get them.

Finding Hero’s Tokens in Return to Moria

In Moria lay hundreds of fallen Dwarves who’s corpses decay on the cold stones. As a very honorable race, Dwarves love to pay homage to the old legends and heroes, leading to great monuments and songs. You can pay homage too, using Hero’s Tokens.

Due to the randomised nature of Return to Moria, these Hero’s Tokens will not be in the same place for all the worlds. You will have to find them yourself, but I can help you with this effort. Around Moria, there are resources scattered all over the floors. Among these ruins and debris, are fallen Dwarven people.

You can tell a fallen Dwarf from the other rubble and resources through the old armor. Approach it and interact with it. Your character will kneel, paying their respects. Upon doing this, an item will spring from their body – a Hero’s Token. The fallen Dwarf will then disappear.

Collecting these Hero’s Tokens will allow you to build special structures that honor the life of all previous Dwarves, such as the Memorial Flame, that costs 5 Hero’s Tokens.

Are Hero’s Tokens a finite resource in Return to Moria?

These fallen Dwarves are found fallen on your travels as you explore new areas. It may beg the question whether or not they will respawn in locations already covered and explored. Currently, that question is not yet clear.

The world is very expansive, so I wouldn’t worry too much about running dry of Hero’s Tokens. However, due to being able to make many worlds, you can always create a new one with your character, explore to stock up on Hero’s Tokens, and then bring them back with you into your main world, technically leading to infinite Hero’s Tokens.

I hope this has cleared things up for you, and wish for you to get all the Hero’s Tokens you need. For more Return to Moria help, look no further than PC Invasion.
