Upon arrival at Gerudo Town, you’ll want to be heading into the Gerudo Town Shelter, as that’s where the story of Gerudo Town starts. But when you approach the door, they’ll turn you away, and need to find another entrance in. This is actually easily done, but can take a while to find if you don’t know where to look.

You need to locate a hole that’s just outside of the staircase that leads to the Gerudo Town Shelter. To do this, as you’re leaving Gerudo Town Shelter, head to the right as you exit the staircase, and as you continue to the right, you should see a small waterfall running into the ground. This small stream of water falls into a hole, and this is the hole you need to go into to progress into Gerudo Town Shelter.

Enter the hole, in which there’s water at the bottom, so don’t worry about falling and taking damage, and once you’re there continue down the pathway until its end. After proceeding to the end of this location, you’ll see a pot attached to a string. When you reach this point, you can use the Ascend ability to get into the Gerudo Town Shelter.

Once you’re inside Gerudo Town Shelter, you can partake in the story, shop in the many shops Gerudo Town has to offer, and enter and leave as you please. To do so though, you must talk to the person at the door, as the door won’t automatically open.
