Perhaps, the whole point of playing Peroxide is to become a powerful, formidable Soul Reaper that can slay Hollows left and right. And one of the ways you can level up your game is by obtaining the Shikai powers.
For most Peroxide players out there, unlocking and defeating Shikai is an achievement worthy of bragging about. But as you might have guessed, it’s not a piece of cake. Here’s how to get Shikai in Peroxide.
How to Get Shikai in Peroxide: The Quests
Before I get into the how’s and the why’s, let’s answer a quick question – what is ‘Shikai’?
In simple terms, ‘Shikai’ (a.k.a. your Inner Spirit) is a promotion—so if you attain this title, you are better than a Soul Reaper. And, of course, you get a whole new skill set to use against your enemies.
First things first—you need to be at least a level 15 Soul Reaper in Peroxide. That’s a pre-requisite for you to start hunting down the Shikai. If you’re already level 15 or above, you need to start your meditation.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Start meditation
- Click the ‘N’ key to enter the Spirit World
- Interact with your Inner Spirit
After this, you will be assigned a task, which is a mini-game:
- Start the task when prompted
- Collect 160 Orbs in your Spirit form
- Once done, your Inner Spirit will ask you to complete a quest
Now, this quest (or quests) might vary from one player to the other—it’s quite random. But usually, it involves slaying a Shinigami or an Adjucha or something similar.
Defeating the Shikai
Once the Orbs mini-game and the quests are out of the way, it’s time to face the Shikai—and don’t expect this to be easy.
You will have to enter the Shikai dimension and battle against your Shikai. I’d suggest you find your balance of attacks and defenses—so you can dodge the critical hits and cause max damage when you hit the foe.
Once you beat the Shikai, you will have access to the new set of powers. In case you don’t manage to slay Shikai the first time, you can always start over.
How to Use Your Shikai Powers

Considering that you have beaten your Shikai, you will now gain the powers we’ve been talking about. Depending on your element, your Shikai might be different.
Here’s a quick rundown of types of Shikai
- Clone
- Explosion
- Fire
- Glacier
- Gravity
- Lightning
- Wind
Since Shikai is technically a mode, you can activate your newly acquired powers by hitting the ‘G’ key. Before you do that, make sure that the meter on your right side has 20% capacity. You can fill up this meter by engaging in combat and reaping souls.
How to Get Shikai in Peroxide: A Few Quick Tips
As you might have realized, it’s not that easy to defeat the Shikai and get the powers. So you might want to consider taking your friends along to help you out.
