Most of the Aspects you’ll collect are from Dungeon rewards placed into your Codex of Power. But certain Aspects are only attached to gear drops. How you can get the Shockwave Aspect in Diablo 4 is through a random Legendary item drops. Although this may sound disappointing, if you don’t like the gear it’s on, you can Extract the Aspect.

Visit an Occultist at any town and they can Extract that Aspect for you. Once that’s done, it will go into your inventory, and you can Imprint it on any item. As a warning, just note that once you’ve imprinted it, you can’t Extract it a second time. Basically, make sure you put the Shockwave Aspect on a gear item you’re sure to keep for awhile.

But what exactly does the Shockwave Aspect do? This Aspect is exclusive to Druids, and aids in your Pulverize skill. With this Aspect on, your Pulverize ability will create a shockwave travelling forward, dealing a random percentage amount of damage to enemies in its path. For example, if you have a trail of enemies ahead of you, using this ability will affect all of the enemies the shockwave travels towards.

It may take awhile to find this Aspect, since you can’t earn it from Dungeons. To increase your chances of getting the Shockwave Aspect, put yourself at a higher World Tier and partake in Dungeons or Helltide events. The more enemies you kill, the higher chances they’ll drop Legendary items with that Aspect attached.
