Remnant 2 players can find the Tarnished Key in The Widow’s Court area of the Yaesha biome. From the checkpoint crystal at the start of The Widow’s Court, head to the left side of the map and make your way downward until you reach a body of water with a waterfall.

How to use the Tarnished Key in Remnant 2

After acquiring the Tarnished Key, return to the starting area near the checkpoint crystal. In the center of the map, there is a path leading up to a walkway, where you will find a locked door. Use the Tarnished Key to open the door and proceed to the other side.

The red arrow in the picture below indicates the location of the door that requires the Tarnished Key.

Once you are on the other side of the door, continue forward a little until you see a glowing purple item on the ground. The item is the Matriarch’s Insignia amulet, an accessory that increases melee damage by 35% and restores ten stamina upon every successful melee attack.

How to find The Widow’s Court in Remnant 2

Finding Widow’s Court can be time-consuming, considering there is a high probability that you won’t spawn it in your playthrough. The best way to increase your chances of spawning The Widow’s Court is to ensure your starting area is the Red Throne.

With the Red Throne as the starting area, continue following the main checkpoint until you reach The Far Woods. The Widow’s Court is one of the side dungeons that spawn in The Far Woods, so check all of them until you arrive.

If you have checked all the side dungeons and never encountered The Widow’s Court, then unfortunately, you need to reroll Yaesha in Adventure Mode. It took me three rerolls until I finally rolled the correct area, so be patient, and eventually, you will get it.
