A popular helm that has appeared across the Diablo franchise is back, and now it’s more powerful than ever. Here is how to get the Harlequin Crest in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4: How to get the Harlequin Crest
The first thing you need to know is that the Harlequin Crest, also known as the Shako, is that it is a Uber Unique item. As you might assume, if Uniques are hard to collect, Uber Uniques are even more difficult. I’m here to help but keep in mind that this will still be a chore.
Face and defeat Level 85+ Enemies
First of all, you will need to be playing in World Tier 4, and have at least one character leveled up to Level 85. While Uber Uniques start dropping at World Tier 3, the truth is that chances of finding one are significantly higher in World Tier 4, thanks to the increased enemy difficulty leading to better drops. Focus on fighting Level 85 enemies in the open world in hopes of them dropping the Harlequin Crest.
Complete Tier 31+ Nightmare Dungeons
Another strategy to collect Uber Uniques – the Harlequin Crest included – is to complete Nightmare Dungeons. You will have to use Ancestral Nightmare Sigils – that is, Tier 31+ Nightmare Sigils – to run Nightmare Dungeons so they can carry Level 85+ enemies. Again, you will have to be playing in World Tier 4 to be able to use Ancestral Nightmare Sigils in the first place.
Grind Endgame Bosses in Diablo 4
Finally, facing and grinding Endgame Bosses is among the hardest but best ways to farm both Uniques and Uber Uniques. In the case of Uber Uniques, you are better off facing the hardest Endgame Boss in Diablo 4, which is the Echo of Duriel, King of Maggots. You will have to visit the Gaping Crevasse to summon Duriel, and you will need to offer two Mucus-Slick Eggs and two Shards of Agony. You will have to defeat Echo of Varshan and Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint – other Endgame Bosses – to collect them, respectively.

If you’re lucky and have a powerful enough character, you will be able to get the Harlequin Crest, aka the Shako, by following all the steps above. This Unique Helm will allow you to gain Damage Reduction and gain +4 ranks to all skills. Make the best out of it and keep collecting all Uber Uniques in Diablo 4.
