Weapons are hard to come by in the wild in Remnant 2. You’ll be getting most of your weapons either by crafting new boss weapons or buying weapons from the weapons vendor in Ward 13. Some weapons however, you can find in the world by doing various things such as defeating a gauntlet of enemies or even a small puzzle like solving the combination lock on a crate. That’s the case for the MP60-R SMG, which you can get pretty early in Remnant 2, if you know where to look. Here’s our guide on how to get the MP60-R SMG in Remnant 2.
How to get the MP60-R SMG in Remnant 2
Remnant 2 has a fun mechanic in that sometimes you need to inspect an item to find a clue for solving a puzzle, much like Resident Evil. The way you get the MP60-R stems from this. The first thing you’re going to need to do to get this gun is inspect the Flashlight in your inventory, then rotate it so you can see the bottom and you should be able to see a code there. This code will read 0415, which will open a case that you can find in Ward 13 upstairs above the crystal in Ford’s Office. Once you input this code the crate will open, giving you a key.

You use this key to open a door that leads to the MP60-R SMG down the end of a path at the far end of Ward 13. This door is past the Mutator Vendor and down a path until you reach a locked door. You can see the entrance to the path below.

After you get there, you can open the door and walk in to find something sitting on the table, which will be the MP60-R SMG. You can then use the MP60-R SMG to your heart’s content in Remnant 2, and it’s a pretty good gun too. Not sure if it will replace my current go-to handgun, but I’ll definitely be giving it a fair look to see if it can top the Cube Gun for my favorite handgun so far.
