How to get unstuck outside the map in Little Kitty, Big City

All is not lost!

Thankfully, Little Kitty, Big City is not a massive, complex triple-A game that can technologically crumble at any moment. That said, it still has its share of lower-stakes tech issues. One of those issues is breaking the game. Luckily, you can easily fix it yourself. If you somehow landed on the outside of the map and have a hard time getting unstuck in Little Kitty, Big City, this guide might come in handy.

Little Kitty, Big City: How to get unstuck outside the map

This problem seems to happen at any moment. If you’re searching for the 42 hats, you can go through the level and get stuck and not move. This happened to me when I was finding the Shinies. I climbed up a pipe and was taken into a space that I couldn’t move around in. A Reddit user has also found out it happens when you walk out of the game world’s boundaries. However, you might think that closing the game and restarting might fix the problem. Some players have found that even if they load back into the game, our feline buddy is still walking on air in the void.

This problem happens easily, but, it can also be fixed easily. Players have found out you can move the cat to another starting point by doing a few edits in the game files. If you’re worried about this breaking the game, don’t worry, I’ve done this myself to test it out. I’m happy to report that it is easy to do, and Little Kitty, Big City works fine afterward.

Steps to get unstuck

Note, at the moment, this only works for PC players. If you’re on consoles, try manually loading back with a different saved file if you have one already.

The first thing you should do on your PC is look for the game’s saved file. It should be in the following location: %localappdata%low\Double Dagger Studio\Little Kitty, Big City

Now that you have found the file, let’s go over the steps on how to move the cat.

  • Locate CatData to find the position the cat was in.
  • Once found, you can change your position. It should look like this: [158.428818, -5,60060453,-149,814]

If you’re confused about the numbers, the first one is the x-axis, the second is the y-axis, and the third is the x-axis

These coordinates will move the cat to another starting point using your saved file. So when you load up the game next, it should be fixed at that point.

While fish helps increase our kitty’s stamina, it also needs to take a short 16-hour nap. To do that, you need to find nap spots.
